Troy Jonas

I have owned my 1930 Model A coupe since 1976. I was 14 years old when my uncle gave it to me after he inherited it when my grandfather passed away.  My grandfather was a restorer and had a rather extensive Model A collection. I started with just a stock chassis and the body. For the next 29 years I collected parts to build the car and finally put it together with my son Travis starting in 2005. The coupe is powered by a highly modified Model A Ford 4 cylinder engine and shifted by a 1939 Ford transmission with Lincoln gears to a very rare early Halibrand Model A quickchange.

We have raced at several hill climbs, time trials and the Antique National's drags, usually winning our class.
