Project #5

These are photos of my roadster. This build was started in the fall of 1999. The body was found by Dave Gale in Lamar, Colorado and he fabricated some new panels for it. Ken Coleman and I turned It into a roller in one weekend but it didn't make it's maiden voyage till August 1st, 2004. The body is the front half of a '27 touring car. The engine is a '73 Pinto 2.0 and a C4 transmission hooked to a '35 4:11 banjo rear-end. I rolled the belly pans and formed the hood on my work bench. Chip Quinn laid out and punched the louvers. The upholstery was done by Glenn Kramer. In November, 2006 it won Street Rodder Magazine, 'Top 10 Pick' at the Goodguys Southwest Nationals!
